Magro Brothers group of companies is a family owned organisation, finding its roods in Gozo in 1916 as general provision merchangs. In 1934 the three brothers invested in the first tomato processing factory on the island. The deep-rooted family spirit is still very present in the highly motivated workforce, committed to give the best consistent resutls. This dedication has brought the company not only to prosper in the food processing sector but also to expand in the property business and the retail sector. Today, Magro Brothers operates from a purposly built facility better known as The Magro Food Village
Their current products include tomato-based table sauces, cooking sauces, ethnic and traditional culinary specialities, dips, ready-to-eat jellies and fruit in alcohol delicacies. They export products to world-class clients in over 20 countries and are geared for private label production.
The secret of success of the organisation is the continuous search for excellence. The 150 personnel workforce assure high quality standards through rigid HACCP controls and ISO 22000 Quality Management System. Higher level status of international food safety accreditation has been regularly maintained since 2000.
