Agostino Azzopardi & Sons Ltd. was established in 1917 as an importer and distributor of grocery items. Today, the company is one of the top 10 grocery distribution companies in Malta.

The company successfully markets a range of products under its own trade name "AA Premium Brand". It is also the exclusive importer and distributor of various other products.

Agostino Azzopardi & Sons Ltd. is also a member of CRAI Scrl of Milan, which is one of the leading food distributor and supermarket chain operator in Italy. Agostino Azzopardi Ltd. is also the master franchisee for CRAI in Malta. Presently the Simpatia CRAI chain entitles of 81 franchisees around Malta and Gozo.

Agostino Azzopardi & Sons Ltd. has extended its operation in the frozen and chilled sector since 2004.
