DOUBLE AA+ for MAGRO BROTHERS OF GOZO!

We did it again – this time even better than before!!

Every year Magro Brothers receives an unannounced visitor! We never know when it’s happening or who is coming – we just know that once a year it will happen and we just have to be prepared and ready!! Annually, Magro Brothers are inspected for British Retail Consortium (BRC) Global Standard for Food Safety.

This Consortium is a leading safety and quality certification programme, used by over 23,000 certificated suppliers in 123 countries, with certification issued through a worldwide network of accredited certification bodies. The Standards guarantee the standardization of quality, safety and operational criteria and ensure that manufacturers fulfill their legal obligations and provide protection for the end consumer. In today’s retail industry, BRC Global Standards are now often a fundamental requirement especially when products are exported to different countries worldwide.

The audit carried out in October 2016 achieved excellent results for the company, ranking it as a top food manufacturing and processing company with a Grade AA+ result.
