Gozitan Style Vegetable Pate`
“An old Maltese word deriving from the Sicilian ‘Stucco’ meaning a pate` of vegetables and herbs in oil”

Preparation: Cook 500g of dried pasta or rice in boiling water + pinch of salt. Dilute contents of jar with 3 spoonfuls of warming cooking water. Our over the cooked pasta or rise and stir well. Ingredients: tomato pulp, tomato paste, red and yellow peppers (12%), green and black olives, sunflower oil, basil (5%), sun dried tomatoes, salt, sugar, acidity regulator E575, herbs , spices. |
