Milk Fest 2011

Last Sunday 3rd April, the Hanini team participated in the annual Milk Fest in Gharghur. At the end of the day, all team members were very tired and proud of the huge success accomplished during their hard day’s work. The good weather contributed to the day’s great success. Many Maltese and Gozitans visited our Hanini stand.

Hanini’s milking cows, were a main attraction for the children, which created a lot of enthusiasm. All kids proudly milked the cows and received a small gift as a reward. People could sample all Hanini products which included the ricotta, sweet ricotta, fresh cheeselets, and spreadable cheese. Our freshly filled sweet ricotta cannoli were a enormous success!

For this special occasion, the Hanini Pekorin made its debut and was an instant success. Available in either a 90-day mature cheese or with fresh garden herbs and chillies, the Hanini Pekorin will soon be also available on the supermarket shelves for those who did not get the opportunity to sample this full-flavoured cheese.

The Hanini group is already looking forward for next year’s edition of the Milk Fest!
