Magro Brothers attended the Annual General meetings of the three PO’s cultivating tomatoes for processing.
The general meeting of the PO ‘Ghaqda Bdiewa Productturi tat-tadam’ was held on the 21st June, that of ‘Ghaqda Produtturi tat-Tadam Maltin’ was held on the 23rd June whilst that of the Gozitan organisation“Ghaqda Ghawdxija tal-Produtturi tat-Tadam” was held on the 24th June.
The meetings were all chaired by Dr. Ian Stafrace who is the legal consultant of the three POs specializing in the cultivation of tomatoes for processing in Malta and Gozo. Also present were the administrative secretary an the technical consultants who briefed farmers on technical issues. The audited financial accountants were also present and approve as per statute.
Mr Christian Magro, General Manager of Magro Brothers was present for the three meetings and addressed members, making particular emphasis on quality and the need to be vigilant in the adherence to technical issues and advice.
