Tomato Festival 2012
The past weekend, the village of Kercem in Gozo held the Tomato Festival. This is the 2nd time this event has taken place in Gozo and clearly Magro Brothers, producers of tomato products could not miss to participate once again in this activity.
The event was spread over two days, Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th August. The event was held by the Ministry for Resources and Rural Affairs, in collaboration with the Ministry for Gozo and the Kercem Local Council.
People who attended this special event could taste genuine local ingredients while enjoying a programme of live entertainment on stage.
Visitors who attended our Mayor and Three Hills stands benefited from special promotions on Three Hills and Mayor tomato products. These promotions were purposely prepared for this occasion.
One of the main attractions held in Pjazza Orvieto in Kercem, was the tomato shooting activity organized by Magro Brothers. Young children and adults participated in this competition. A small token was given to each participant.
