Hon. Clint Camilleri visits Magro Brothers Food Village

Hon. Clint Camilleri, Parliamentary Secretary for Agriculture, Fisheries & Animal Rights visited the Magro Brothers tomato processing plant in Xewkija Gozo. Accompanied by John, Chris and Michael he was toured around the whole process of the tomato production from the entry of the product into the plant through the end finished product ready for the consumer.
During his visit Hon Camilleri announced that, after negotiations with the EU in the past two years, the Government had lately confirmed that the sum of € 6,000,000 as direct aid to farmers cultivating tomatoes for processing, was concluded. During his visit Hon Camilleri also met several employees from the various departments within Magro Brothers.
