The Magro Christmas Family Fest
This year, at The Magro Food Village we are inviting the general public to share this joyous festive spirit with us.
A whole lot of fun activities are planned during the Christmas period aimed both for children and those young at heart -and this year is even more special as we are launching our new, full size Carousel for children!
We have a number of general activities throughout a number of days in December. (please refer to time table below)
For adults will have special Savina hamper discounts, a free packet of mince pies will be given with every hamper purchase and a free Savina candle with every Euro 25 purchase; free tasting of our Christmas delicacies including our in-house mulled wine. Traditional roasted chestnuts and fresh warm mulled wine also be available for sale. Sales during the month of December gives all visitors a chance of winning a wonderful Chest hamper stuffed with Savina products.
For children we are launching our brand new full size carousel and other merry-go- round for the young ones. Also we will have organised food and science fun activities as well as kitchen crafts and face painting activities.
* To participate, a donation of €3.50 will be exchanged for tokens for children’s activities.
On the 8th of December, it is Savina’s annual Open Day and apart from the mentioned activities, we will also have extra activities for the day including free train rides every 45 minutes between 11am and 3pm. The train will take groups of people to Gozo’s petting farm where one can see a number of different animals. (weather permitting). Will also have 2 live cooking sessions of Christmas delicacies 10.30am – 12.30pm and 2.30pm – 4.30pm
