Yearly Farmers’ Meetings and Awards

Two meetings were organised by Magro Brothers in Malta and Gozo for farmers cultivating tomatoes for processing. CEO Christian Magro announced that for the coming season 2022 Magro Brothers will be increasing the price of tomatoes to their farmers by 25%.

This substantial increase is part of a series of initiatives taken by Magro Brothers from year to year in supporting farmers cultivating tomatoes for processing. Other initiatives in the pipeline where also announced. During both meetings awards were presented to those farmers who followed best practices in cultivating tomatoes for processing in 2021.
