Gozo Region – European Region of Gastronomy

The Gozo region was recently officially awarded the prestigious title of European Region of Gastronomy by the International Institute of Gastronomy, Culture, Arts and Tourism (IGCAT).
Back in February of this year, we proudly hosted the same jury at the Magro Food Village. Mr Magro shared the experience of the Magro Family which spans over five generations dating back to over 100 years ago explaining our unique history, which includes the cheese making tradition.
