The annual general meeting of the Producers’ Organisations of Tomatoes for Processing
On Wednesday & Thursday 21st & 22nd May 2014, two meetings were held for farmers cultivating fresh tomatoes for processing for Magro Brothers.
Both well attended meetings, one in Malta and another one in Gozo, were chaired by Dr Ian Stafrace. Hon. Parl. Sec. Roderick Galdes and Mr John Magro were among those invited and addressed all farmers present. Other Ministry’s officials on panel included Mr George Carbone, Dr Justin Zahra, Mr Noel Azzopardi and Head of Paying Agency Mr Sharlo Camilleri who also participated in the discussion and answered questions raised by various farmers.
Meetings ended with a reception for all present.
