Tomato Process 2015

The photos below show the preparation of the open fields and the gradual scenario from sowing to planting. All in preparation for the tomato processing during July and August.

APRIL

April is the time when farmers start sowing the tomato seeds to grow into small plants and finally planting them in the open fields.

MAY

During the month of May the fields are now full of small tomato plants. These tiny plants are only 4 weeks old and growing up healthy.

JUNE

During the month of June, second week of June, various tomato plants are growing even bigger making fields look like large green carpets with the plants reaching each other while they grow.
